I can't wait to become a teacher in the future knowing that I will be having a bunch of fun activity for students that are willing to learn in the classroom. When I was in elementary, I do enjoy learning and having fun at the same time in class. My teacher would have a different activity every day such as math, science, reading, language, and writing. My favorite subject in elementary would be math and writing. In most cases, the teacher should care if the student enjoys class lessons. Students enjoy going to class when the teacher is very active, talkative, and funny. Also, let's not forget when the teacher could be serious and determined for her/his students learn at the end of the day.
For example, let's talk about respect, behavior, and rules in the classroom. Before introducing a new lesson for the students about being respectful. There are a few steps that you can make your student understand the activity. The first step would have a student work as a class or in a small group to brainstorms all of their ideas. Students will be asking about each other what is respect in their definition. Someone will write down their ideas and someone is going to help them correct their grammar. The second step is a student will be making a list of synonyms for the word respect. For example, admire, praise, and etc.
The third step is the students will work together as a group to create a poster. Once they are done being creative on their poster board. They will talk about their poster in front of the classroom and give examples. This will help the student be confident in the future run when they are presenting in big classrooms and other students. Once they have finished presenting their posters. I will hang their beautiful creation in the classroom to let them know that I appreciate their effort.

Intellectual Disability
I learned about Intellectual Disability when I was doing my powerpoint for my ED-215 class. Intellectual Disability is characterized by significant limitations both in Intellectual functioning (reasoning, learning, problem-solving). This covers a range of everyday social and practical skills. This disability originates before the age of 18. This disability is also called "mental retardation." The disability is NOT determined by IQ test. A test score below or around 70 - or as high as 75 - indicates a limitation in intellectual functioning. There are three types of skills: Conceptual Skills, Social Skills, and Practical skills. People goal is to functions within their own environment in order to lead a more successful satisfying life.
When I took ED192 two semesters ago, I was observing this elementary class. One of the students had an Intellectual Disability. The students were sitting down in their assigned seats for the rest of the school year except one of the students. He was sitting in the back with another teacher aid. The teacher explained his disability how he cannot talk, write, and he was just different. As an educator teacher, I would have let the boy with the disability sit down with the rest of the students. Students with a disability will feel left out, not confident in learning, and feeling like an outcast. The goal for every teacher is not to make any student feel that way. Although, the teacher did say she does focus on him when she is done teaching the lesson to the other students. The teacher aid is always the one helping the student with the disability and helping him learn the same way how the students are learning in the classroom. I learned that student with a disability should not be treated differently when it comes to learning.

Good times in Elementary
I could remember my Elementary day's when I would have to wake up early in the morning to get ready. By the time I finished showering, my mom would make me breakfast and be making my food for lunch. I would watch my favorite childhood shows called the Full house. When I arrived at school I would be walking around with my barbie strolling bag and my lunch pale. I could remember that I was the loud girl in class that keeps talking to my classmates and walking around in class. One time during recess, there was this boy who was my classmate kept teasing me about something. I was so irritated at him that I threw a rock at him. He told the aid's and I got my first warning from my teacher and the principal. They called my mom and I was sent home early. My mom was mad at me because I was not following the rules in school. Now that I look back at it, I just laughed about it because that was really funny.
There was this one incident where my mom put me in walker instead of car rider. My teacher was responsible for all of her students where they should be. I knew that I was a car rider because my mom told me to wait for my cousins and my auntie to pick me up in the front of the office. When my teacher called me to line up in the Walker line, I told my teacher that I am a car rider because my mom said so. She said," no. Your mom signed the paper and put you in Walker." I had to follow my teacher when I knew that she was wrong. When I was walking out of school, I decided to just walk to my house since it is just 10-20 minutes away. The scary part was walking alone, there were dogs everywhere in the Dededo area, and I had to crosswalk at the other side of the street. Thank God that there was a policeman and helped me. He was asking me questions where I live and where are my parents. I was terrified at the moment and I just kept crying. I'm so thankful that the Policeman was there to save me even if I was just kindergarten. Can you imagine how scared I was walking alone? Something bad could have happened to me. I have many memories of my elementary days but I just wanted to share this with everyone.

Depression
What is Depression? Depression is a common serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel about things in life, the way you think, the way you act. Depression is a feeling of sadness or not interested in an activity you once enjoyed. This can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems to function at work and home. There are reasons for Depression such as feeling sad/having a depressed mood, loss interest, changes in appetite such as weight loss or gain unrelated to dieting, sleeping too much and lack of sleep, feeling worthless and guilty, difficulty thinking, concentrating or making decisions, and thoughts of death/suicide. This is really important to everyone in general especially in students that feel depression.
Students that have depression will have no motivation to go to school, talk to their classmates, lack of participation, an outcast on activities, and getting bad grades in their classes. As a teacher, we should be able to help the student and guide them. Sometimes they just need a friend to talk too or someone who's willing to listen to their thoughts without judging them. Students who get depressed easily is about break-up and family problems. There are many ways to make a student not feel depressed by doing something new out of their comfort zone, meeting new people, talking to advisors, running, shopping, and etc. Parents played a big role in this situation to guide their children and talk to them. Parents showing that they care and love their child will make everything better.

Task Box
I had to make a task box for Autistic Children to benefit them for having fun in the activity. There are many fun task box for Autistic Children to help them learn in a way they are communicating with themselves and their classmates. Teachers are able to be creative on their Task Box and have fun with their activity in the classroom. Every student has their individual task box schedule. They know to pick the boxes from top to bottom. Students are able to learn on their own and can ask for help when from the teacher if they are struggling on the activity.
You can find these task box online on Printerest or on youtube. There are many different kinds of task box that teachers can help the student have an activity according to their subjects. My task box is food organization. I printed out many fruits, vegetables, and junk food. I created an enveloped and wrote every 3 envelopes of the names. I made a clear direction for students to understand what to do. The student just has to put the fruits, vegetables, and junk foods in the right envelopes. My other classmates were really creative on their task box. I liked my classmates own that had hard and soft objects and the coin boxes where the student have to figure out how many cents they are in the envolpe.

Speech and Language Impairment
There tips for teachers and parents that can handle this type of situation. Importantly, teachers should also let her/his students know to treat each other equally. For example, when a student is bullying the student that has disability will make the student be frighten and low-esteem. They tend to mock, irritate them, and treat them less. Teacher should be ready to help the student learn and make more time for them to understand the assignment. Students with communication problem should be in groups with students to help each other and be comfortable by learning together. Students with Speech and Language Impairment will exercise their mind by doing critical thinking, abstract thinking, and memory retraining. Teachers and Parents can provice to help children overcome with their disability to give self-esteem, achieve confidence and pride, and have meaningful roles in the students lives.

Game Rubric + Game Link
Game Link
A Rubric has become popular to teachers of communicating expectation with their students such as assignments, projects, and homework. Rubrics can teach as well as evaluate rather than being judged. Rubrics can make their students improve their understanding skills and their quality of their work. When teachers use a rubric, there are advantages, and disadvantages of using a Rubric to students. One of the advantages for this rubric is when teachers give feedback to students to show how to improve their work. The disadvantages for this rubric is single overall score does not communicate information about what to do to improve.
In my ED-271 class, Dr. Olah put us into groups to do this game rubric. My group and I created a game rubric for our second-grade students. We chose to do the math and our rubric is about the game video's that we played online for free for our second graders. The games that I found are fun because I have played these games before especially it is addicting learning through online. I will show you an example of my game link and my rubric cube that I made. We also made students their own rubric cube to evaluate themselves. This is fun and games for our future students. We just want the best for them and help them improve their math skills. There are many ways to improve their skills by doing hands-on and group activity.

Autism Spectrum Disability Article
For my ED-215-01 class, my professor assigned us to search for articles about special education disability. The topic that I have chosen is Autism Spectrum Disability because there are many articles relating to this topic in education. Students who have Autism Spectrum Disability are different than any other student that can read, speak, and write. However, teachers should be able to focus on their weakness and strength to help the student improve their ability in learning. Students should be more helpful for other students that are at a slow pace in learning such as teaching them what they know.
In my opinion, If I ever have a student that has Autism Spectrum Disability. I would focus more on the student by teaching him/her individually how to write, speak, and read. This will take time and patient for a student that has the disability to learn. The goal for teachers should be able to teach the student how many words he/she can say, write, and read. This will be a challenge for most teachers because it is important for them to treat a student who has disability equally like normal students.

Good Health and Well being
My social work professor assigned us into groups to do a presentation next week. My topic he gave me is Good health and Wellbeing. We have to talk about how this topic is related to Guam. However, I am majoring in Elementary Education and I can relate this in Guam education system. I am glad that my professor gave me this topic because I do have ideas what to talk about in terms of the children's that are going to school. Good health and well-being are important for children because it
develops a positive mindset, emotional, social, and physical things in school. Children's are meant to go in school to gain confidence towards their classmates and the teacher for focusing on them to succeed.
Another important thing about Good Health and Well-Being is about physical education and physical activity. Back in Middle School, I would have gym class in the morning. The first thing we would do is exercise then do an activity such as Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, and Running. This will wake up students to be more fit their muscles will be strong by the end of the year. This is a good opportunity for young children to join their classmates to interact with each other. I am 21 years old and I barely excerise and I cannot run 4 laps non-stop anymore how I used to back in Middle School years. I am sad because back then It was easy for me, now It is hard. For my advice for students who are in middle school should take this class to be healthy and to be in good shape for the next following year so they can feel more confident about themselves.

Responsbility
After class today, I am going to do errands to pay for my car payment and maybe a little bit of shopping at Gpo Ross. Shopping is one of my favorite hobbies to do when I am stressed out or when I pass my exams/test then I would treat myself out which is a good stress relief. I feel stressed out because there are so many things to do for school. I am always tired from school knowing that I will go straight to work 2:30-pm to 6:30pm (4 hours only). After work, I would eat and rest for one hour and catch up on my youtube vlogs. Usually, I would be tired at this point but I have to finish my homework or study for my upcoming exams/test. It is hard when you are full-time student and worker. I really have to use my time wisely and I have to be organized all the time. Before the night ends, I would update my planner on the things I need to do the following day. Overall this is called responsibility. Being a teacher in the future is to prepare how to handle things on your own, always be on top of everything, organizing the students work, and most importantly having fun on what you are doing!
